Overview
First week was talks on personal improvement and an introduction to legal work. Second week offered opportunity to actually shadow a trainee.
Skills
Yes- have a much better understanding of what working in commercial law is like! Improved my commercial awareness, attention to detail and communication.
Business Insight
Lots of information and opportunities to talk to trainees about working at CMS.
Culture
Very friendly culture, somewhat more laid back than expected. The trainees assigned to us weren’t always available to ask questions but this was to be expected

It was a fantastic programme and I enjoyed both learning about the law and meeting other aspiring solicitors.
