    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My time at the Graduate Recruitment Bureau greatly helped me to develop my interest in Digital Marketing further and provided a fantastic insight into the recruitment industry. I found that along with the requirements of my role and new skills I learned there, I gained a vast wealth of knowledge on graduate recruitment and I feel I know how to market myself better for future employment opportunities.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My contribution did not go unnoticed and I felt like I was being valued for the work I was putting into my role.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given a fantastic level of support and never felt like I couldn't approach my managers or the Marketing Director with a query or suggestion.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • My role was demanding enough for the hours I worked.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • My role was very much subordinate, but I was in charge of the approach and strategies I wanted to take when contacting websites and blogger outreach and was given freedom to explore new tactics; I never felt I was being undervalued.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The experience and knowledge I have gained has enabled me to gain a graduate role in a digital marketing agency and aided me throughout my Digital Marketing module as part of my studies at university; I would not have achieved as well as I have if it wasn't for my time at the Graduate Recruitment Bureau.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere was very positive and encouragement and recognition of achievements were shared frequently.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • I never had any problems throughout any of the process both starting at the Graduate Recruitment Bureau, training and development and leaving the company. It was very well organised.

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • 3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
