    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I was responsible for conducting comparable research and writing market commentaries based on my research. I would present my findings to my direct line managers on a weekly basis and write up reports that were reviewed before being sent to the client.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Absolutely. I learnt about how to conduct in-depth market research with the end goal of being able to correctly value a development that our team was working on. I continued learning how to efficiently work within a new team within the property sector, which was a new experience for me in itself. It was incredible to understand exactly how the residential part of JLL works by conducting daily tasks that the team work on.

I also had two lovely line managers who guided me through the tasks I was set and made sure I knew exactly what I was doing. I am really grateful for their expertise during my 6 weeks.
