Overview
As a mobile software engineer intern, my role involves assisting in the development and testing of software applications. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with team members in Agile meetings, writing and debugging code, participating in code reviews, and documenting processes. I also help with troubleshooting issues, testing new features, and learning about deployment processes, such as using CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, I engage in learning sessions to deepen my understanding of technologies used by the team.
Skills
During my internship, I’ve gained valuable skills in CI/CD processes, specifically using Jenkins and GitHub for deployment. I’ve also developed my knowledge of Swift, Java for building applications and improved my debugging and testing techniques. Collaborating in an Agile environment has enhanced my teamwork abilities and understanding of project workflows. Overall, this experience has significantly expanded my technical toolkit and prepared me for future challenges in software engineering.
