Overview
My role involves working with 2 central function teams: Environment and Sustainability. These teams are incredibly overstretched so I work to support them on a variety of CSR and Carbon-related tasks, and other areas too. I have been given responsibility in net zero strategy research and volunteering promotion.
Skills
I have developed carbon accounting based skills as I was able to undertake a week long training course on ISO 14061. I have also developed my data manipulation and analysis skills, as well as qualitative analysis for a variety of strategic goals.
Responsibilities
It is gradually increasing and is at a level that I am comfortable with right now.
Support & Guidance
I have many check ins with my team, and frequent dedicated check ins with my line manager. I feel very able to reach out for support if needed.
Culture
Everyone is very lovely and it is a nice workplace culture.
