  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • My typical day to day was working remote to look at large data sets from blackboard and comparing them to student engagement. I also wrote a piece of data to compare two course to one another and what they can do to learn from one another and increase student engagement

    • Yes, I was given full responsibility for all of the reasearch such as collecting data from blackboard, applying the data and creating presentations to my line manager to present my findings for them to be able to write up the research

    • I was able to get a lot of support from my line manager such as a little bit of training to help me understand what she would like me to do and 1:1 meetings with her to see the progress of the work

    • My advice would be make sure your CV is presentable and easy to read and to always think outside of the box and try different things out if you can’t do it one way that is why I got hired as I have a different mindset due to my autism which allows me to think differently
