Black Heritage Insight Event Review

The insight gave us an opportunity to find out what the application process was like. We found out what it is like to work for MUFG from a graduate perspective and from an experienced worker's point of view. On a day-to-day basis there is lots of networking, conversation in order to gain knowledge and an openness to learn for people.

I've developed my existing skill of networking and being personable, resilient and curious. I spoke to industry leaders, asked questions throughout the day and was patient and waited my turn to speak.

It was great, I loved the slideshows and the interesting people presenting about potential roles of project finance, sales and trading, risk management. It was a reinforcement to have the technical knowledge, showcase my passion and eagerness to learn. It was fascinating learning about the business and potential roles available because I could see myself in one of those roles.

The company culture was very relaxed and the general atmosphere was amazing because of how approachable everyone was.

To a very large extent, I gained a lot from this experience and this has given my motivation to achieve my goals.
