Overview
Gained some great on site safety experience. The routine tasks can be tedious. The technical work was good and engaging. Good onsite experience.
Skills
Safety and environmental awareness.
Responsibilities
Yeah. I was given tasks that needed to be done and genuine work for the company.
Support & Guidance
Not a lot. The process team was very busy and didn’t have much free time to be able to help the students or give them much of their time. I also didn’t think the HR handled certain things very well.
Culture
Not a very nice atmosphere. Low Moral across the team. It seemed like people didn’t want to be there and at times could be draining.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my placement to a certain extent but mainly because I was living at home and was nice to earn money. But didn’t enjoy the working atmosphere.
No
It’s a very big and busy company. You will gain some great onsite experience aswell as safety and environmental awareness. But I think the placement lacks support and technical learning abilities.
