  • Gained some great on site safety experience. The routine tasks can be tedious. The technical work was good and engaging. Good onsite experience.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yeah. I was given tasks that needed to be done and genuine work for the company.

  • Not a lot. The process team was very busy and didn’t have much free time to be able to help the students or give them much of their time. I also didn’t think the HR handled certain things very well.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Not a very nice atmosphere. Low Moral across the team. It seemed like people didn’t want to be there and at times could be draining.

  • I enjoyed my placement to a certain extent but mainly because I was living at home and was nice to earn money. But didn’t enjoy the working atmosphere.

  • It’s a very big and busy company. You will gain some great onsite experience aswell as safety and environmental awareness. But I think the placement lacks support and technical learning abilities.
