    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • As a Software Developer, I picked up tickets and collaborated with my team on assigned projects. I participated in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and quarterly planning, contributing my ideas on various issues and topics. I felt like a full member of the team, no different from anyone else.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have strengthened my Java programming skills from university and have also learned a lot of JavaScript. I gained experience with various industry tools, such as Jira, Jenkins, and other utilities. My thought process has shifted to focus more on developing software that aligns with a long-term vision and is easily upgradable. I enhanced my use of OOP and SOLID principles and improved my communication and teamwork skills.
