  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • In my role as a Corporate Transaction Support Executive/Deal Executive, I provide comprehensive, full-cycle support to Corporate Deal Executives. Working closely with our clients, I help identify the right buyers and facilitate negotiations that drive successful transactions. I contribute at every stage of the process, from direct client communication and meeting coordination to supporting marketing strategies and research. Additionally, I occasionally represent Deal Executives during client-buyer meetings, ensuring continuity and professionalism. I'm passionate about enhancing my expertise in deal execution, marketing, and market research to elevate our client experience and ensure seamless, successful transactions. In addition to my support role, I also manage a small portfolio of my own clients. This responsibility allows me to take ownership of the deal process from start to finish, including client relationship management, buyer outreach, and facilitating negotiations. Handling my own portfolio has strengthened my skills in deal execution and deepened my understanding of client needs, further enhancing my ability to contribute effectively to our team’s success.

  • Financial Analysis and Due Diligence – Analyzing financial statements, assessing risks, and evaluating potential buyers, which is essential for supporting mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions. Deal Execution – Managing end-to-end deal processes, from initial client contact to closing, which enhances your ability to oversee complex transactions independently. Client Relationship Management – Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their strategic goals to provide tailored support throughout the transaction process. Negotiation Support – Assisting in deal negotiations by preparing information, coordinating with clients, and sometimes representing Deal Executives in client-buyer meetings. Project Management – Organizing and scheduling meetings, tracking timelines, and coordinating between multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely transactions. Communication and Presentation – Effectively communicating with clients, internal teams, and external parties, as well as presenting findings and reports to help guide decision-making. Adaptability and Problem-Solving – Navigating the complexities of each transaction, anticipating issues, and finding solutions that facilitate a successful outcome.

  • I have been entrusted with significant responsibility in my role, managing client interactions, supporting Deal Executives throughout the transaction lifecycle, and even handling a small portfolio of clients independently. This trust reflects my ability to oversee complex processes, communicate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to the success of each transaction.

  • The support and guidance from both management and the entire team have been invaluable in my role. Their mentorship has not only strengthened my technical skills but has also encouraged me to take on new challenges and grow with confidence. The collaborative environment has fostered a culture of learning, where team members share insights and advice that enable us all to deliver exceptional results for our clients. A system of working under 3 deal executives has been highly efficient and helpful in my development.

We work together seamlessly, leveraging each member's unique strengths to tackle complex challenges and achieve common goals. This positive atmosphere not only enhances our effectiveness but also fosters personal and professional growth, making it a truly rewarding place to work. This is shown with examples when the team hit targets of going for meals & drinks as a team to going to local events and regular wellness days where the whole team take a day away from the office and go for a walk in the countryside.

The experience has been incredibly rewarding, both personally and professionally, and has deepened my passion for corporate finance. I would be thrilled to rejoin the team post-graduation to continue contributing to our shared success and advancing my career in this field.
