Overview
creating budget quotes including technical information about heaters for customers creating initial costings using in house software and calculation tools contacting manufacturing sites for changes in material costs and manufacturing updates overlooking electrical panel drawings for the initial budget quotations emailing customers to advise their technical clarifications and advice on which products to buy processing and logging in inquiries throughout the week on companies website organising the folder and files to store all appropriate information

developed my Microsoft excel skills and organisation skills and also developed my computing and technical knowledge skills
Responsibilities
Everything was overlooked by my line manager so I didnt have too much own responsibility
Support & Guidance
I got help whenever I asked for it and our HR manager had weekly catch up sessions which was useful
Culture
quite a chill office, only came into office twice a week and the rest was working from home, It was a shared office space and the lights above me werent working for 6 months so it was a bit dark as natural light didnt flow into the room

I enjoyed it, great experience for what office life is like.. way less stressful than uni, that's for sure
