  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I had a fantastic time

    • I did real work which was certainly appreciated

    • My supervisor always took the time out to explain things to me, and I felt that I could always ask the trainees for help

    • Most days I was very busy, with the quite day or two

    • I was given a lot of responsibility, but all the work that I did went through a trainee, so I never felt it was too much

    • I learnt a huge amount on the scheme

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Great atmosphere! Everyone from the partners to the PAs were incredibly friendly

    • The scheme ran extremely smoothly

    • Regular presentations, training from out supervisors and even a half day negotiation workshop meant that the level of investment was high

    • Everyone wanted the training contract offer after the scheme

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • We regularly went out for lunch together and for drinks after work

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • London is London so it's not cheap, but the same would apply to every other City law firm

    • It's London...

    • People played in the sports teams or got involved in pro bono work
