Overview
working on delivering a smooth budget and evaluating the current state of the economy. This included briefing senior civil servants and ministers.
Skills
developed key written and presentational skills. Gained new skills in data analysis and retrieval.
Responsibilities
You have the opportunity to gain lots of responsibilities throughout your placement, especially in the latter half of your time. This includes leading projects and taking up additional responsibilities.
Support & Guidance
I was given lots of support and guidance, with a minimum of once-a-week catch-up with my line manager and quarterly reviews to discuss areas of development.
Culture
There is a really strong culture, with many work socials and team-building activities that were meaningful and impactful.
