  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have been exposed to many useful laboratory techniques that will be invaluable when it comes to my final year at university. Additionally I have been taught to question everything which is a good skill to have when approaching a scientific career.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I was invited to all meetings relevant to me which allowed me to develop my understanding of the company further. My supervisor and I would have weekly 1:1 meetings in order to discuss results and my progress and my project manager also invested time into helping me further myself.
