Overview
Working in office environment, with a work laptop. Excel based analysis and conducting research through studies or online. Assisting the team with their projects with opportunities to run your own projects.

Yes, given opportunity to take on responsibility for existing projects and to spearhead my own. My suggestions and perspective were valued as if I were part of the team
Support & Guidance
Lots, my team are friendly and supportive as were line managers. There were scheduled one to ones with my line manager to check in and I never felt like I couldn't ask for help

Very welcoming and warm, everybody I met was so friendly

I really really loved it, it really shaped my university experience, and I would even recommend it to people who aren't that interested in policing as you develop lots of transferable skills and the placement can be shaped to your interests
