Working on various ad-hoc tasks and real estate projects within GSK's enterprise portfolio.
Skills
Yes, I have developed a lot of skills within the Microsoft environment, in particular excel and powerpoint. On top of this a lot of soft skills such as public speaking, communication and awareness of professionalism in the workplace.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was trusted to be involved in a lot of significant projects for GSK's future, one of which was confidential due to it's potential to have a major impact within the company.
Support & Guidance
I received the ideal amount of support. I would have weekly check-ins with my manager. I felt comfortable going to them if I needed any help.
Culture
GSK is one of the most respected and largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. They have a well structured cultural purpose. Everyone is friendly and all carry a high level of professionalism with them.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my time at GSK, I met loads of new people who are valuable contacts to have within the industry. It was also a great chance to meet new people my age as GSK employ a lot of placement students across the UK.
