Overview
Working with Excel analysing data everyday and completing trade every week. Ensuring that the warehouse and suppliers have all assets and marketing materials, such as samples which I would send to them on the wholesale team. I would send all imagery & PA to external partners and allocate stock to them. I would also create and raise purchase orders and deal with any extra financial bits for POs if necessary. I would help with the process of taking on new business partners and deal with all the admin for them.
Skills
I became really competent using Excel everyday, developed professional communication skills, confidence and many technical skills. I learnt how to use Power BI and complex industry-specific systems regularly.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of reponsibility as towards the end, I was responsible for new business partner accounts. I also helped to train new staff and extra people who would help in our team.
Support & Guidance
I had weekly catch up meetings after the first couple months where I could go through my workload and delegate anything if necessary.
Culture
The culture is quite corporate, and the atmosphere is nice, but it is predominantly female.
Your Impressions
I did enjoy my time at Reiss as it was a good experience, but the culture wasn't very inclusive, and there were a lot of old-school corporate fashion culture things I wasn't a fan of.
