Overview
Communications assistant - day to day social media updates, news stories, press releases, content creation/filming, creating graphics, networking with other companies/creators, advertisement for the events team.

Canva, premier pro, content filming, a lot of marine biology lab techniques and species information
Responsibilities
not a lot of solo responsibility but a lot with the social media officer

A lot, my manager was always happy to listen and help
Culture
There was a mix of feelings, the company went through a bit of a hard time whilst I was there but overall everyone was really friendly and it was a nice community.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it and I learnt so many amazing skills. I did find it difficult though, especially when the company moral was low and everyone was really busy but that was out of their hands.
Yes
Research the aims of this company, get a good background of what they strive to do as well as the current research occurring there. Have a passion for saving the ocean and you should be all set!
