Overview
The insight was great ! The schedule enabled us to discover different products in financial markets, learning from juniors to seniors. We had networking events and an online trading simulation that involved putting ourselves as market makers and price takers.
Skills
I learned new hard skills in finance, especially during my shadowing sessions. I also developed my ability to live in fast paced environments.
Business Insight
We really learned a lot about the whole markets business and the differences you can find between an asset class and another but also about public side and private side. It was really insightful as the structure was pretty clear.
Culture
The atmosphere was really great and the culture positive : we felt welcomed by everyone and people were really accessible which made me feel comfortable and genuinely made me want to come back to Citi for the summer internship.

I really enjoyed this insight to the point that I wish it could last for a couple more days.
Yes
I would say that you have to show to your recruiter that you’re eager to learn and open minded.
