Overview
A week-long programme included personal improvement sessions, panels with people who work in the company, case studies, presentations, groupwork, networking
Skills
Definitely improved upon existing skills and learnt new presentation skills, got better at networking
Business Insight
I think that the way the programme was structured enabled to gain a deep insight into how every department that was presented works and it was made very clear how to apply and progress
Culture
Even though I do not come from finance and business background I found out a lot about the culture of the sector and company specifically. The atmosphere was very relaxed and I felt welcomed by the employees the whole time
Your Impressions
I did enjoy it a lot, apart from the times when I found it difficult to find common ground with other interns because all of them are from the same department and I was the only one with a different background. I haven’t struggled when talking to employees though
Yes
Be open and ready to talk to different people. Also it is not that deep and does pass by quickly so better enjoy it while it lasts
