The Role
I really enjoyed my placement, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The scheme itself was very organized and we had a good day to day structure.
Everyone was very approachable, friendly and welcoming within the firm. I was often asked to carry out tasks for different partners and solicitors within the firm and not just solely from my trainee.
I was given very good guidance and support throughout my VAC scheme, from both graduate recruitment and my trainee.
I was always given a task to do. If my trainee had nothing for me to do then someone else would assign me work, I was never sat not doing anything at any point throughout my placement.
I wasn't given the greatest amount of responsiblity on my placement, however this is because I am not trained as of yet to do a lot of the daily tasks.
I learnt a lot from the department I was in (restructuring), I got to carry out security reviews and get involved with a number of cases they were carrying out at present.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
I think the placement was extremely organised and well structured.
The company gave me a lot of tasks to do which I had never done before which allowed me to learn new skills.
Company Parties/Events
I would definatley like to work at this firm.
The Culture
Yes we all got on really well.
It was very expensive to travel into Manchester everyday, and food prices are also very costly.
Manchester has got a very good nightlife!
We took part in a CR opportunity and got taken out twice to a restaurant and a bar.
