The Role
Excellent, great colleagues, great programme
I got a lot of encouragement, advice and support throughout the two weeks.
There was no differentiation between partners and associates in terms of quality of support and guidance offered. Which is a good thing.
Bit quiet at times.
A large amount of responsibility, though this depended on the kind of assignments handed down.
Great interview practice (had 2 during the course of the placement plus group exercise) and exposure to legal matters.
The Company
I was sat with some awesome people!
Obviously extremely appealing, but no idea about the job yet....
The Culture
There was a lot more pressure to perform well than normal I think, given the credit crunch and that 4th-seat trainees were finding out about NQ jobs during the scheme. A lot of complaints about lack of sleep.
I live here normally, but London is always expensive.
Ditto.
There wasn't much time for this in the 2 weeks.
