The Role
Very enjoyable, real and interesting work that was valued.
Wonderfully helpful, took time advising and helping me wtihout ever feeling that the questions I was asking were not pertinent.
Had supervisors, sometimes worked for others rather tahn for them, but was still very enjoyable.
Quieter in my second department, but that was due to the department and my lack of scientific knowledge. I was never rushed off my feet but I certainly wasn't twiddling my thumbs.
Enough responsibility, but I always felt my work was checked.
What it was actually like in a law firm, the culture of the particular firm and how to draft.
The Company
Very well organised, a couple of slight ICT problems at the start, however that is to be expected.
We had partner time (if we asked them for work), we had meetings from every part of the firm to explain what they did, it was very impressive.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing.
The Culture
Events could have been slightly better organised, but other than that lovely.
London is expensive, but the socialising was paid for.
We didn't really go out late, people had other vac schemes or had to commute in. It was personal rather than due to work load.
Pro Bono was offered but over subscribed, which was a shame.
