The Role
I really enjoyed my placement. The organisation really wants you and encourages you to make the most of your time here.
My colleagues were amazing to work with. They helped on every query I had and if unable to assist me, they would direct me to someone who could help.
I was assigned a mentor, who was very friendly and provided great support. Even on the absence of my mentor, my manager stepped in as a great guider.
I was fairly busy on a daily basis. It would vary depending on my responsibilities and project work.
Initially I was given a lot of responsibilities. If I was interested in a certain process, there was no limitations for me to take on the work.
The skills I have learnt and developed are definitely skills for life. Overall, my work ethic as improved significantly and I feel more confident when returning to university.
