The Role
A good mix of challenge and enjoyment.
The majority of colleagues were friendly and approachable, regardless of seniority.
Enthusiastic support from supervisors.
Heavily dependent on how busy the department was as a whole.
Given a reasonable degree of responsibility, given relative lack of legal / commercial experience.
Training in presentation skills was particularly useful, and very relevant for humanities degrees. General organisational and IT skills also developed.
The Company
Friendly and welcoming atmosphere in both departments that I worked in.
Well organised scheme and good communication from grad. recruitment.
Firm willing to invest heavily in personal training and development.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
An organisation that I would want to work for.
The Culture
Good social scene / events, and everyone got on well.
Cheaper accomodation recommended by the firm.
Good.
Few opportunities to get involved with sports teams.
