The Role
I found my time at the company pleasant and did enjoy it overall
I was surprised how easy it was to settle in after only a day or two and adjust to the way the team worked
For the most part i was given good support.
There were understandably times where i felt bored and too busy but also times where i felt a perfect balance and i am sure everyone experiences those days
I think i was given a fair amount of responsibilty considering i was only there for two weeks and i enjoyed that.
Just simply being in a new environment will give anyone skills for life as you understand what work can be like in the future. The one thing i would have liked more experience of would be the actual techincal side of what the job could entail
The Company
It is underdtandably plain and quiet in the office
It was set up well and i immediately had work to do
Again i would have liked to learn more about the technical side of the job but i have had to learn about organisation and planning which has been useful
Subsidised Canteen
The only thing that i dislike is that a lot of time is spent sitting still at a desk
The Culture
A lot of communicating happens through e-mail and i was comfortable speaking to colleagues
It was easy to socialise in the town during lunch breaks and there were some cheap places to eat
I went home at 5pm so i am not too sure what the nightlife is like but i dont think it would be anything spectacular
It was harder to be involved in other activities however i still found time for some
