The Role
Hays has offered me an exciting insight into the world of recruitment.
Throughout my year Hays have offered me training and my colleagues have supported me continuously. At no point was I made to feel like a placement student as I was operating as a placement student.
The management at Hays is exceptional. My manager has always supported me throughout my year. He has supported my growth and development throughout.
Recruitment is a fast paced enviroment. I have been handling a major contract nationally across the country worth £6 mil. At times I have been over stretched however the challenge this presented was one I thoroughly enjoyed.
I have operated at the temporary public sector consultant for temporary office support workers across the North East. I was given this desk to manage and it was my own responsiblilty to ensure the desk was profitable.
Not only do I have a strong market knowledge as a result of this placement year. I have developed skills that can be applied to my career no matter the organisation
The Company
The office was always busy however this did not stop us from having a laugh.
Hays throughout my year has seen significant change. This resulted in my role changing from a private sector consultant to the public. This was not a problem.
Hays training is first rate both in the office and training programmes they provide.
