The Role
Everyone I encountered, from support staff to Partner level, were welcoming, friendly and approachable.
My colleagues really made me feel like a useful member of the team.
Guidance was given freely when needed, and the team were adept at explaining things to me no matter how complex or mundane.
I was given the correct amount of work to do in the timescales provided.
I felt that the degree of work was suitable given my experience and skills.
I highly recommend a placement with Pinsent Masons to develop and enhance core business skills and team work.
The Company
The office was open-plan and the general atmosphere was enjoyable.
Some aspects were not organised as well as others but overall it was good.
We were given detailed information about the firm and had good training in the key area of our role.
Company Parties/Events
I would be delighted to work for Pinsent Masons if offered.
The Culture
The social scene was brilliant.
Edinburgh is an expensive city but there are cheap options.
The nightlife was good with plenty of options to hand.
We had at least 2 social event per week, all well organised by the Trainees.
