The Role
I was given many exciting challenges and opportunities throughout my placement. The work was extremely rewarding.
I quickly became an essential part of the team in my department. So much so that they have kept me on to continue to work with them.
My manager was a true inspiration to work for. He always pushed me to get the best out of myself and in return gave me more and more responsibility as the placement went on.
I always had something on the go, at times several things. It was never too much as it was always exciting.
I coordinated the weekly deliveries of our work to TX and was always trusted to do so. If my manager was out of the office for anytime, I was in charge of the department.
I learned far more from this experience than I did from my studies in university.
The Company
The team I worked in was great fun but knew when to get serious about the work. I have made some great friends from my ESPN colleagues.
I would have liked the opportunity to learn more about the other people involved in the company, I was also never given a proper ESPN induction.
My manager ensured that I was always developing to become a producer throughout my time with ESPN by giving me constant challenges.
Company Parties/Events
I have been kept on as a freelance producer in the company, being paid double what I was as an intern. I hope to stay there long term and it is very possible that I will.
The Culture
internship did not pay nearly enough for me to be able to enjoy living in london.
chiswick is not known for its nightlife
