The Role
I enjoyed most of the work placement. I particularly enjoyed the trip to Paris. I also think changing seats half way through the placement made it more enjoyable, as I was given a variety of work.
Everybody was happy to explain all of my tasks to me, and to give me extra background information.
My supervisors have both been very good in giving me guidance. They have both been very busy, but have always taken time to answer my questions and to explain things to me.
This varied. I was consistently quite busy in my first seat. In my second, it was very busy towards the weekend but not as busy during the week.
I was given some responsibility in respect of completing tasks but I was not asked to do anything above my competence level.
I think that what I have learned here will be very useful and will help me in the future, particularly in respect of job applications if I am unsuccessful in securing a Training Contract.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly and willing to help, which made me feel very welcome in both departments.
I thought that the placement was organised very well. We were given a very useful booklet at the start of the placement with all of our planned events in, and were e-mailed with regular reminders when the events themselves were taking place.
The talks and training which were ongoing throughout the placement were very informative. There were also optional talks to attend along with the rest of the firm and many networking opportunities.

Company Parties/Events
I would very much like to work for the firm.
The Culture
At times there was a good social scene. However, outside what was organised there was not a good social scene with the group as a whole. People tended to arrange lunches and social events only in smaller groups.
Expensive area to socialise. I lived outside London so living was not as expensive. Commuting was one of the most expensive aspects.
I did not go to Nighlife during my placement.
There were many organised social events and talks outside of work.
