The Role
It was a good insight into the work that goes on inside KPMG
My 2 weeks were well organised but people didnt really know why i was there.
I met my manager once during the two weeks.
I had a well structured time table, most of it shadowing as i did not have the training to do the work.
I did not have the revevant training to be given much responsibility
I attended an internal training seminar which was extremely interesting and helped me develop presentation skills.
The Company
People were very freindly but tended to work on their own
Very well organised.
I feel the firm invested a great deal in giving us an insight into the company more so than any training/ development.
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Above 25 days holiday
A great company who i would enjoy working for.
The Culture
Yes we orangised after work drinks between ourselves one evening.
London will always be expensive.
Night life if fantastic if you know London well and know where to go.
I was only on a two week placement so there was no the chance to get involved in the up and coming charoty events.
