The Role
I really enjoyed the year
I was valued by my colleagues and respected for my contribution to the work
I was given good guidance and was always comfortable to ask questions if I had any
I was regularly busy, however there were period when it was quite quiet and I completed work for University
I was given a good amount of responsibility, but feel that I could have been given more
I feel that the Excel knowledge I have developed will prove useful at University
The Company
The office was quiet but the people around me were always friendly
The internship consisted of a range of tasks or different lengths
A lot of time was invested in training me which I invested in the next intern
Subsidised Canteen
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I feel that within my department, there is not a great chance of being employed again as the headcount must be kept low, but perhaps there are more opportunities elsewhere within the organisation
The Culture
The social scene was good however I commuted so did not socialise much at weekend with anyone
Cost of socialising expensive as placement was in London
Nightlife was quiet in Hammersmith, elsewhere in London was better
Lots of volunteering opportunities within Disney
