The Role
Best job I have ever had.
Most of my colleagues I would also describe as friends, we regularly did social activities and had nights out.
I was given a through introduction and induction to the company and my job role, I had a good hand over with my previous placement student. After completing my training I was then left to get on with my job without constant supervision, which I really enjoyed, Although there was always help available when needed.
I had my regular essential jobs that I completed on a weekly or monthly basis, then project work to get on with too, I never had nothing to do, but similarly I was not often stressed with a heavy work load.
I felt I was given valuable, meaningful work that made a real difference to the company. After I was settled in I could make, what I felt, were important decisions on a daily basis, such as how to resolve customer issues, listing new products, managing projects and leading small teams of interns.
I have built up a great skill set during my time at Groupe SEB, I feel most of them are transferable to other employment, especially time management and teamwork.
