The Role
It was a great experience and I met some lovely people.
My colleagues were so helpful and kind to me throughout the year. They made the job seem less daunting and supported me with any worries or problems I had.
I had a few different supervisors throughout my placement but they gave me plenty to do and lots of feedback to help support and improve my work.
This ranged throughout the year. In general I was kept busy with all sorts of jobs and towards the end I was kept very busy!
I was allowed to organise my days around all my projects and given the responsibility to work to my own deadlines without someone checking up on me.
I have definitely grown in confidence and improved my writing skills.
The Company
Everyone was busy but chatty and helpful.
It took a while for me to get trained up and started but after that it all went smoothly.
I had the opportunity to attend visits and charity events on behalf of the company.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
I would definitely consider coming back to work here after university.
The Culture
All the students socialised and many lived together so we formed strong bonds with each other.
Our rent was fairly cheap and the local area was not too expensive.
The nightlife is good, although sometimes you had to travel to the next town for a night out.
There were all sorts of sporting activities and social events going on throughout the year.
