The Role
A fantastic experience that has taught me so much.
I have made a true group of friends here that I don't want to leave.
It is a very busy job, and it's not a job where you will end up sat doing nothing, there is always something you can be doing and they give you the scope to do that. They want you to go out there and show what you can do for the business. And where possible they do accomdate you should you have commitments or appointments, such as having a couple of hours off for appointments or going early to catch a train home etc.
You are the one that is driving your own career from the start you are creating a furture in a business, you have responsibilites from the start and the more you progress the more responsibilities your given and you can always go to your manager or collegue with problems or questions if the load is too much or too little.
You develop a vast knowledge for the industry and also knowledge which will help you understand your course more, while also learning skills which are transferable to any job or even to life.
The Company
As with any business, there were odd occasions when things were busy and people were in and out sorting out things. However it was very rare that the atomsphere was affected. There was always friendly banter and it was fun to be in the office.
The whole scheme is amazing, the start is very indepth and there is alot of information. But once you've got the job the information and guidence doesn't stop. I was travelling from Sheffield to London for my interviews and they were amazing helping out with hotels, locations and any advise I needed. Once I had the job the process is just so easy.
From word go they invest in you. You have a weeks training which teaches you all you need to get you started, they encourage socialising among the training group so it's liek going back to school with your mates but in a less strict environment. Throughout they train you and ensure your meeting your personal targets as well as the company ones. They have a healthcare scheme and the HR department are amazing, everyone is so approachable and friendly even the general manager has a friendly and approachable personality.

I have been promoted in my year with Enterprise, as well as that I have an opportunity to work for them part time while back at university and in addition to that I have a job to come back to and I've already got one promotion and the next one could happen within months of returnign after university.
The Culture
Within your immediate team drinks after work etc happen and meals out. But within the local areas and local teams you build up a realtionship with them too, area nights out where everyone comes together are incredible and these happen on more occasions than just christmas.
I lived in london, nothing was every goign to be cheap and I worked in wimbledon meaning things were certainly more costly than university student living. However this hasn't really affected my social life, most managers will buy a round or two if you go out as team building and there are also social events within work, such as the internship event which brings together all the interns to talk about there experiences. There is also events for those that are excelling within the company, a chance ot meet more new people and have a good time, things like paintballing, thorpe park, central london restaurants, ascott.
So close to so many different areas and 20 minutes train journey form central london. Incredible, the best year yet.
There are various schemes and clubs which you can take part in and there is also supprot from the company for the local communitiy events and clubs which people may wish to take part in.
