The Role
Confirmed my intention to persue a career in commercial law.
I felt that I settled in well to the team, that they were happy to have me on board and that I was of value in the tasks I was set.
I felt I could always approach any member of the team to assist me or answer any question I had.
I had a steady flow of work throughout the two weeks. There was always more work available when I needed it, and even had the opportunity to do work from other departments than the one in which I was sitting.
I was given some challenging tasks and drafting and was given as much as can be expected during a two week placement.
Invaluable experience.
The Company
A professional business atmosphere, yet everyone was friendly and approachable.
Very well organised, and well communicated.
There was a high level of investment in our development and understanding of the firm, particularly the practice presentations.
Company Parties/Events
I hope to receive an offer for a training contract.
The Culture
Thursday was the social night, which worked perfectly.
Leeds has a wide variety of shops, bakeries, food venues, bars to cater to a wide range of income levels.
The nightlife in Leeds is very varied therefore there is something for everyone!
I particularly enjoyed playing Softball for the work team.
