The Role
Scary at first but everyone has been welcoming. A fantastic opportunity to see what a firm is really like as you can only get so much from their brochures.
Within the emplomeny team - very much. Despite the fact that most of the team have been on holiday during my time here, i have had a chance to meet them all and invited to several Tribunals next week.
Not sure what to put here? is this is replation to management of PM? or the Graduate Recruitment Team at PM? or the heads of the Employment team?
I would be given a list of things to on a daily basis where most of the deadlines would be for the end of the day. it would be perfect amount of work and there was enough variety to swap and change.
Preparation of bundles was all my own work. My trainee respected that to the point where she would send them straight to her superior. Thsi would not have been the case if she flet that i was incompetent
Self-confidence (meeting with partners and other senior members of staff) and time management mainly.
The Company
Received all documentation regarding the placement months in advance. Allowed me to sort out my life before and after with ease.
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Fingers crossed!
The Culture
Not really, as the majority of the other stduents stay in glasgow. PM is classed as 'Scotland' even though there are two offices here.
The key is to know where to go.
Edinburgh Rocks - that's why it is my home
Several sporting activities and involvement with the 'Starfish' programme (CSR)
