The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my two week placement more than I thought I would. The firm exceeded expectations.
My supervisor was incredibly supportive and was always open to having a chat or offering me guidance on assessments etc.
The Company
The open plan nature of the office really helped to create an open and approachable atmosphere in the office. There were plenty of social events being organised and firm-wide initiatives being launched.
A lot of time and effort had clearly been put in to the organisational aspect of the placement but we were made aware from the start who we should go to if we had an issue which was reassuring.
The firm clearly demonstrates a high level of investment in my training and the training of the trainees.

I would be ecstatic if I were to begin my employment with this firm, they are a top firm with international aspirations and a good foundation on which to build that.
The Culture
Yes, there was a good social scene and we were able to bond really well both first thing in a morning, at lunch time or of an evening.
Leeds has a vibrant nightlife which can cater t oall tastes
The firm were open to allowing the vacation scheme students to attend any activities or social events outside of work wherever posible.
