The Role
This was a great experience, which I would recommend to anyone intersted
I was made to feel like part of the team.
My supervisor and buddy were always around to provide me with work or guidance if I needed it.
The work load was good, but depends on what work is actually available for you to complete.
I could have handled more.
Having completed the LPC I was able to use the skills I had developed from that on my vac scheme.
The Company
I was able to attend a wine tasting event which was very well attended by the firm. This was a great chance to see how friendly the office is.
Really well, we had practice presentations in the morning, then returned to our practice areas. Meeting up in the morning gave the vac schemers a chance to catch up.
We received IT training and information on how we can get involved if we were to join the firm, but not much training on the placement.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
There are jobs available, but competition is tough.
The Culture
We had a lot of socials throughout the two weeks placement completing a variety of events: pool tournaments, treaure hunt around Leeds.
The same as other city centres.
Leeds is a busy city centre, there is a lot of NIghtlife.
PM get involved with hockey, netball and football matches. They also do alot of CSR work outside work.
