The Role
The varied tasks and social events led to a challenging and enjoyable experience.
The team could not have been more supportive, open and appreciative.
I feel that the guidance given was just about right. You did not feel isolated yet independence of thought was needed and in fact helped build confidence and repect amongst the team.
The work within the department came in peak and troughs, so you were able to throw yourself into a big task and experience a big deal but then spend some more relaxed time talking to employees and learing about the firm.
Although you were only solely responsible for small tasks, your work was made to feel vital to the bigger picture and essential to the team.
Working in the busy commercial environment was invaluable.
The Company
The atmosphere was professional yet friendly and relaxed.
Bar a few unavoidable hicupps, the organisation was excellently executed.
A trip to London, various presentations, partner lunches and assessment exercises developed legal, personal, business and net working skills.
Subsidised Canteen
This scheme is the best route into the firm and a job offer is very possible.
The Culture
Im going for lunch with them now.
There is a wide choice of accommodation and entertainment available, so as cheap or expensive as you wanted it to be.
Leeds has lots to offer
Social evenings, soft ball, football, netball, lunches etc It would have been nice to get involved with corporate responsibility projects but this was impossible as it was working with children.
