The Role
It was a great experience and one that I enjoyed and would reccommend to all.
I felt valued by my colleagues as I was given opportunities to work on some very influential projects. This included managing a project across a large amount of employees and presenting back to managers.
My manager provided fantastic support across the 12 months.
Having spoken to many other interns I think their experience is the same in the fact that some days there is not enough to do. However I was proactive in suggesting projects, and therefore was busy on a daily basis.
I was given a large amount of responsibility working on two very influential projects.
The skills I have learnt will no doubt help me when I am completing my degree and in the future.
The Company
My office was a great place to work as everyone was friendly and welcoming.
Very well - clear objectives and an four week induction plan was in place when I started.
I was sent on a management training course and many other course for personal development which I throughly enjoyed.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
The graduate scheme is one of the hardest to get on, however I am still hopeful.
The Culture
I still keep in contact with the other interns as we cemeneted a good friendship in the 12 months.
I lived at home so not too expensive.
Living at home meant I didn't really go out where I worked.
Very little.
