    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed my work in the department, everyone was really friendly and came in to talk to me a lot. Not just when they had work for me to do but just to chat as well.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was told when work I did was helpful.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I got feedback on my work where it was possible.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I had lots of tasks to do I was never without work which was great because trying to look busy is hard. In fact I had more work than I had time to do over the week but this was fine but I explained my capacity to everyone and emailed the people whose work I had not had time to finish and they were fine with it.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Obviously when you are somewhere for a week there isn't that much you can do responsibility wise. I saw the responsibility trainees were given though and this was positive for the future.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I think some of the drafting skills and familiarity with Land Registry site will be useful on the LPC.
