The Role
I enjoyed my work in the department, everyone was really friendly and came in to talk to me a lot. Not just when they had work for me to do but just to chat as well.
I was told when work I did was helpful.
I got feedback on my work where it was possible.
I had lots of tasks to do I was never without work which was great because trying to look busy is hard. In fact I had more work than I had time to do over the week but this was fine but I explained my capacity to everyone and emailed the people whose work I had not had time to finish and they were fine with it.
Obviously when you are somewhere for a week there isn't that much you can do responsibility wise. I saw the responsibility trainees were given though and this was positive for the future.
I think some of the drafting skills and familiarity with Land Registry site will be useful on the LPC.
The Company
Everyone in my department was friendly.
We had a timetable of what we had to do, that was good.
I was given feedback on work I did.
I have a second interview.
The Culture
The trainees were fun!
Leeds is not expensive. All social events were paid for by the firm anyway.
Leeds is great, lots to do.
Good socials organised for us. Sports and CSR for trainees.
