The Role
Although some tasks were mundane, this is part of being a lawyer. There was also some interesting work and the people that I have worked with have been very helpful and friendly.
A couple of days i did have to stay late to complete what i was doing, but most of the time i was not very busy.
I was given very minimal responsibility. This is understandable for a two week placement, but I would have enjoyed more responsibility.
The practical and academic sides of the subject are very different and so neither helps the other in any significant way.
The Company
There is a good mix of work and play and people seemed to like having a bit of fun whilst they work.
Apart from a slight lack of work for students to do, the organisation was seamless.
They seemed to invest a lot of money in graduates generally
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Relatively good considering the curtrent economic environment.
The Culture
All placement students were given the opportunity to get to know each other and we all got on very well
Travelling was quite expensive but everything else was average.
A lot of bars and a generally good night life.
There were social night but a disappointing amount of sporting activities.
