The Role
It was an enjoyable experience. However, some of the work was tedious. As the lowest grade present at client site, I was given all the admin jobs. e.g. photocopying, sorting out mobile internet, etc.
Some colleagues valued me more than others. However, I was given real responsibility and not all my work was reviewed. This made me feel like my input actually made a difference.
Supervisors were always available to ask questions and offer advice and support. However, due to the fact that they were always busy with their own work, it did feel quite awkward asking for help.
I worked on a quarterly audit so was very busy for the duration of my internship.
I was given basic tasks at the beginning of the placement. Once I had gained the trust of my colleagues I was given more responsibilty within the audit.
I didn't receive any formal training beforehand. Should I choose to go into auditing the experience I gained will be invaluable.
The Company
During less busy periods and fridays, there was lots of banter in the office. However at times everyone was very busy with their own work.
There was no audit training. I didn't have much contact with my buddy and didn't have any contact with my development manager. Furtheremore, my audit team didn't even know I was an intern!
There was a residential programme before the internship started. However, this was rather pointless as no specific training was given. It was merely a chance to meet other interns.
Subsidised Canteen
I have a partner interview coming up
The Culture
There were socials arranged by the other interns.

There was a CSR day for interns. However, since I was needed at my client I wasn't able to attend
