The Role
Very worthwile but was a full years work alongside other graduates which was tough, getting paid for it though was nice!
Lots of support from all angles of the company throughout the year, both from an appraiser and also through managers on projects
Peaks and troughs depending on the project
Responsible for many things but nothing that was ever something I was unable to do
Invaluable skills of working in a large corporation
The Company
Varied as a lot of the time it was working in the clients offices. When in Deloitte offices though, it's an atmosphere of hard work but also high morale
Most of the placement was incredibly well organised. There were small areas that could have been better
There was a huge amount of training before the actual work started and then more optional training as the year went on
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Awaiting final interview...
The Culture
Very good
Very high as it was central london but that's expected. Social life very good but also very expensive
Very good, very expensive
Quite a few but many were filled or harder for placement students to get involved in
