The Role
It was more like a programme filled with workshops and exercises.
It was clear that the company valued the participants at this event. The HR ladies were very nice and we got to speak to partners as well as other employees.
We received feedback on our group exercises and teams were allocated advisors throughout the three days who supported them in their preparation for a final presentation.
It was extremely busy. We got a schedule as soon as we arrived and there was no free time except at night. The networking sessions at night lasted until quite late as well but participation was not mandatory. It is an extremely busy three days but that is why we are there!
This event was not about us having responsibility but about us gaining new skills.
The skills I developed are very helpful for assessment centres. We practiced all acitivites and improved our skills.
The Company
The other students were all very nice and friendly. Made some good friends.
The organisation was seamless, absolutely professional. The organisers went out of their way to help with whatever issue we had.
It was visible that they wanted us to have fun, develop and go work for them.

If you do well on the assessments, you could be offered an internship position for next summer.
The Culture
Everyone was really nice, and there were students from many different universities.
Everything was paid for in the hotel so we did not have to spend anything.
There was a bar open till 11pm where we could network with partners and other PwC employees.
There was a nice work hard play hard environment, lots of tasks to be done but we also had time to socialise. we did not get much time to use the facilities at the hotel, e.g. swimming pool or gym.
