  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My placement was very challenging which made it interesting on a daily basis.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • From the beginning I was made to feel a part of the team, I was never treated like "an intern" I was always treated the same way as anyone else in the company.

  • I always received feedback and advice whenever I needed it and I have also been given time to work through my CV and interview skills.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • As a support function of the business the workload always varies but overall there is time for more.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given the same levels of responsibility as the rest of my team. In certain situations I have also been able to go beyond my standard job role and experience other parts of the business, including making sales to customers.

  • The soft skills and interpersonal skills that I have developed will be very useful throughout my working career.

  • It was generally a jovial and happy office.

  • The overall work within my department was very good but the internship program as a whole is still in it's early stages.

  • I was always given opportunities and encouraged to develop outside of my department and attend various training courses.

  • I would be very happy if I could obtain a full time job at SAP.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Out of 18 interns on placement less than half of us regularly did social things. The majority of the interns were to be frank, boring.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Living so close to London is expensive.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There is literally no nightlife in Feltham.

  • We play football twice a week and do get involved with other activities such as drinking.
