The Role
I enjoyed the majority of the placement as all of my team were attentive and made sure I had a varied role so I could gain the most experience
My close team were very supportive, and I found this across the office. People enjoy seeing and working with a new face.
My manager had a lot of time for me and wanted me to achieve my best.
I was busy the majority of the time, there is always opportunities for work if you look for them.
My responsibilities at the end of the year were vast compared to at the start, apply yourself and you will gain the rewards.
Without completing the placement I would not be the well rounded employee I am now and have since gone on to gain a graduate role at another company.
The Company
Atmosphere was generally upbeat. Cookie mornings and outings were organisied to keep morale high.
The placement was extremely well organised. The company knew how to get the best out of the placement for you and for them.
I was sent on courses on other sites to improve skills which benefitted me greatly.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
I got through to the final round of interviews for a graduate job. Opportunity for future employment is there.
The Culture
Strong social scenes on each individual site and the students also organised accross site socials privately.
Living just outside London was more economical. With the salary offered it was very comfortable.
The local nightlife was good and being close to London offered a wider array of options.
With a social club on site there were lots of activities organised.
