The Role
I looked forward to going to work and throoughly enjoyed my role and the experiences and skills I gained.
Everyone is treated equally and although I was only on placement, I wasn't seen any differently and was taken seriously.
My Manager and colleagues helped and supported me with anything I needed and worked hard to make sure I got the msot out of the year.
There was a good balance, some days would be very busy and others not so much. A usual day was a good balance and I could always ask the rest of the team if they needed help with anything.
I was given a fair deal of responsibility during my placement which helped me develop and feel a sense of worth whilst there.
I have gained a range of both personal and professional skills which I will use at both my final year of university but also in the future. e.g. communication, professionalism, confidence, innitiative.
The Company
Everyone is friendly and the rewards were good e.g. parties, events etc.
There were some things which werent organised so well - our placement support tutor was often away with work so it was hard to contact them. however, we had set amounts of training and social events which were great.
There were set amounts of training which were great for development and you were encouraged to go on as many training courses that you needed. The courses were relevant and very useful.

The Culture
As the social secretary I organised many nights out across the year. There were 16 other placement students and the social scene was good.
We were in North London so it was often pricey, but it was still affordable.
Both Hertford and london were great for the nigthlife.
yes, lots of activities.
