    • Everypne was friendly

    • THey gave me responsibility and helped me get better at my work

    • I had a specifci supervisor and she helped me through everything

    • if I finished my work, I could ask for more and if there was too much, they eased off a bit

    • Presented n department meetings. Asked to do important synthesis

    • I am now doing a phd because I enjoyed it so much

    • Went out for pub lunches, lots of students in the lab too

    • not the best, but it is the people which make the night, not the venue
